“There’s a natural mystic blowing through the air…” the riveting words of the famous Jamaican singer/songwriter- Bob Marley, a natural mystic, what is this some may ask? Well for me, appreciating life, the beauty of life and our mere existence constitutes this ‘natural mystic’ and the Creator of this beauty. God has given us this gift of life and all that surrounds us so that we may live in the moment and be thankful to Him for his creations. Each morning we open our eyes it’s a manifestation of God’s work, His truth, His promise to never leave us nor forsake us. The world brings with it lots of trials, tribulations – ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’ as some may call it, but through all things we owe it to the Father to never forget His gift and to never try facing the ‘world’ on our own. Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand..” so why fear, why worry? Instead let us acknowledge His words and stand steadfast in our Faith, ready to face each day and be fearless in our pursuits. So for my first blog post, I saw it imperative that I share these few words today because someone may have needed to hear this. Get up, open your windows, take a nice deep breath and inhale the goodness of God. Remember, you can get through anything knowing and believing that our Creator will never leave our side. Take a moment to observe ‘your’ natural mystic each day.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
